Glenthea is for planning a wedding and keeping what it leaves behind. These rules apply to everyone who uses it – couples, their guests, vendors, and anyone else who reaches it. You must not:
- Upload, share or promote anything unlawful – including child sexual abuse material, credible threats, incitement to violence, fraud or phishing, or material that infringes intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, impersonate or deliberately mislead anyone, or create a wedding card in the name of a couple who did not ask you to.
- Share personal information, photographs, videos or recordings unless you are entitled to do so and have respected the privacy and image rights of the people shown. Where something prominently features a child, get the agreement of a parent or guardian if it is needed. Intimate, humiliating or secretly recorded material does not belong here at all.
- Send anything through Glenthea that is not about the wedding – no advertising, no fundraising, no political campaigning – or write to anyone you are not entitled to invite or contact for this wedding. A bought or scraped address list is never that entitlement. Once someone asks you to stop, stop.
- Ask anyone for card details, passwords, access codes, identity documents or other credentials, anywhere on your card or in any message sent through Glenthea. Bank details for a wedding gift belong only in the field provided for them.
- Collect personal information you do not need in order to invite, host or thank your guests. Travel, access and dietary needs belong here; financial details, identity documents and medical records do not, and a free-text field does not make them acceptable.
- Attack or disrupt Glenthea, introduce malware or harmful code, scan, scrape or automate access to it without our prior written permission, reach for another person's account or data, work around a security control or the limits of your plan, interfere with the reporting and moderation tools, or evade a restriction or suspension.
- Misuse a security flaw. If you find one, tell us privately at support@glenthea.com and give us a reasonable chance to fix it: do not access, keep, alter or publish anyone else's data, do not disrupt the service, do not disclose an unresolved flaw publicly, and do not use it for gain.
- Use Glenthea for something that is not a wedding. The celebrations around one belong here, and so do the keepsakes that follow; a ticketed event, a business promotion, an unrelated party or a marketing list does not. A vendor may use Glenthea only for genuine wedding work a couple has asked for, and never to market to that couple's guests.
If these rules are broken we may remove or restrict content, limit a feature, mute or remove a guest, suspend a wedding card or an account, or end access altogether. We may act without warning where that is reasonably necessary to protect people, Glenthea or the security of the service, or to comply with the law; otherwise, where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. Any refund entitlement is decided under the Terms of Service and applicable law. To report something on Glenthea that breaks these rules, email support@glenthea.com, naming the wedding card or the content where you can.
